Members of Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN) attended the 'Walk for Greyhounds' organized primarily We need you to take action to help support the campaign to abolish greyhound racing. Please get in touch with us if you can organize a peaceful protest or leafletting session outside of a greyhound stadium near you. ARAN will provide everything you need to get active to bring about a future where greyhound racing will be a thing of the past and where these majestic, gentle, mis-understood creatures will be respected. |

by some greyhound welfare groups in Ireland, which ARAN has no connections with or affiliation to. The walk began at St Stephan's Green at roughly 1pm had many attend with their rescued greyhounds, lurchers and rescued dogs for a walk along Grafton Street, along Nassau Street and working it's way back to St Stephen's Green. Lots of people attending held signs calling for an end to plans for a greyhound stadia in China and others highlighting an end to greyhound racing. ARAN members attended this event to support the 'No to China' campaign which is working to stop proposed plans of greyhound racing in China. Action is ARAN's middle name where we take action to fight animal abuse, and, Network is a strong ethos we firmly believe in where we work with groups and organizations with whom we can find common ground. ARAN would like to thank all
the groups who organized this event in Dublin yesterday for bringing attention to the plight of greyhounds in Ireland.
