What a busy week of action for the animals it's been! Ending on a good note were two lively and successful events in Galway and Cork to raise public awareness for our campaign to stop the Canadian seal slaughter. In Galway, we continued to receive further press coverage later in the week with Galway Sentiniel and Galway Advertiser running articles, on Saturday afternoon Galway Bay FM were running our event as the main news bulletin which was great to bring awareness to the issue of Canada killing baby seals and of course about cruelty to animals in general. Hundreds of email address were taken for people to learn more. In the coming days ARAN will be mailing all these people specific information on how they can take effective action to stop Canada killing baby seals. We will also use this opportunity to encourage them to take action to help animals and of course to become more aware of various other issues that are on their doorsteps. Click here to see short footage of some supporters holding signs, whilst others were on the streets collecting petitions.

On Sunday it was off to Cork for our most successful event of the week! Local supporters turned out in nice numbers for a petition signing table. Click here to see some footage of the Cork event and pictures below. Please join your local ARAN members to get active in your city, contact ARAN if you want to do more, locally. Please remember, actions speak louder than words, please make a commitment to re-double your efforts to help animals, take part in ARAN's campaigns and events, or any other group, do it yourself or with

friends - but please take action – the animals need all the help they can get. Stay tuned for further ARAN events in your area and please commit to being there for just a couple of hours – it really does make a huge difference. Plus you'll get to meet other kind, positive and dedicated people who all share the same goal of wanting to end an undeclared-war on animals. ARAN is a peaceful, professional animal rights campaigning group.
